Last week marked a major milestone for the Bertazzoni family! After three very exciting and busy days in New York City, we have officially launched our new “Arancio” professional range to the world. Valentina Bertazzoni, brand manager and sixth-generation family executive for Bertazzoni, was on the ground at the Architectural Digest Home & Design Show to talk about the new Bertazzoni lineup, the colors of Italy and all the innovative new features from Bertazzoni.
For four exciting days, the Eastern Marketing booth was very busy with industry leaders in the architect and design space, buyers and home owners, and many members of the media.
To kick-off the AD Show, Valentina joined Cindy Allen, the editor-in-chief of Interior Design, at the Dining by Design Gala dinner and fundraiser event, hosted by DIFFA Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS.

In NYC, Bertazzoni Introduces New Range Lineup for the North American Market
At the Architectural Digital show in New York, March 21-24, 2013, Bertazzoni announced its new range lineup for the North American market. Valentina Bertazzoni, brand manager and sixth-generation family executive for Bertazzoni, was onsite to share the news of the new vitamin color – “Arancio” as well as innovative new features and competitive price points for the Professional Series, Master Series and Heritage Series. A star in the lineup is the new “Arancio” Professional Series range, a stunning orange color, inspired by the foods of the Emilia-Romagna region where Bertazzoni manufactures all of its products.
Bertazzoni also introduced six innovative new features in its line of high-quality ranges including beautiful brass burners, increased BTU power to 18,000, precision control gas values, new soft motion door hinges, new ergonomically stylized handle and new telescopic glide racks. For the first time, Bertazzoni now offers its manual dual-fuel models at the same price point as its gas models. The availability of dual-fuel performance has also been expanded across the Bertazzoni line for all self-clean models.
For Bertazzoni Heritage Series fans, Bertazzoni infused the latest technology and advanced cooking features with the same classic vintage look. For those who love the Bertazzoni’s Built-In, the line now has Built-In specialty ovens as well as even more accessible price points. Finally, Bertazzoni also offered a sneak peak at its first, free iPad app, available in May 2013 for distributors, dealers, architects and interior designers.

Bertazzoni, gains momentum with the announcement of several industry awards, including accolades from leading design, appliance, and technology influencers.
ADEX is the largest and most prestigious awards competition for product design of furnishings marketed to the design trade. The following Bertazzoni built-in products have been recognized with ADEX Platinum Awards: Design Series 36 inch Segmented Cooktop Gas Griddle Grill PM36 1 IG X, Design Series Induction Touch Control 36 inch Cooktop, 30 inch Ventilation Microwave Oven KO 30 PRO X The Gold Award has been won by the Professional Series 30 inch Double Oven FD30 PRO XT and XE, Professional Series 36 inch Gas Cooktop QB36 5 00 X, Professional Series 36 inch Range Hood with Dual Motors - 1200 CFM KU36 PRO 2X. The Silver Award has been recognized to the Design Series 36 inch Range Hood with Dual Motors KG36 CON X.
The built-in suite of cooktops and wall ovens has also been recognized with other design industry awards for its sleek aesthetic and advanced innovation, including: 2011 Interior Design Best of Year Award Finalist for the Bertazzoni Design Series 36 inch Segmented Cooktop, and GOOD Design 2011 Finalist for the Design Series Built-in Oven. The Design Series 30 inch Double Oven was named an International CES Innovations 2012 Design and Engineering Awards Honoree.

On the 14th of April Bertazzoni celebrated its 130th anniversary by uniting family, global partners and clients in its home town of Guastalla, for a celebration at the Palazzo Ducale, the heart of the Italian town.
Still growing strong after its 130 years of productivity, the two Bertazzoni brands: “Bertazzoni” and “La Germania” are highly regarded cooking machinery brands in Italy, Europe and worldwide.
Thanks to its 250 employees and thirty thousand metre squared plant, Bertazzoni produces two hundred thousand products which it then ships to different markets all around the world.
The host, Paolo Bertazzoni, presented global partners with promises of a bright future ahead: “ We are in a very important transformational phase. This year we will be investing capital and energy into growing in the current markets and entering new ones. The care and quality that we put into our products are the characteristics that for 130 years have helped the Bertazzoni success”
Once the presentations were over, the celebration moved to the local theatre where the guests were treated to a reduced version of “La Traviata”, only to then return to the Palazzo Ducale to enjoy some fine Italian cooking altogether

The KBIS 2012, the industry’s top kitchen and bath show with more than 550 exhibitors, opened its doors on April 27 2012. During the show’s week, Bertazzoni which was the oldest family owned manufacturer at the show, won the prestigious “Best of Show Award” for one of the company’s newest products: the segmented cooktop. The award is given to the product that exhibits the best in functionality, quality/durability, flexibility, aesthetics/style, and innovation.
The Bertazzoni Segmented Cooktop combines the power of gas, electric griddle, and induction cooking in one product platform to transform surface cooking for good. The low profile design fits the standard cut-out for a 36” cooktop and each cooking surface is designed with three 12” segments per fuel type.
Nicola Bertazzoni, Vice president of sales and sixth generation family executive for Bertazzoni, was there to accept the award: “When we set out to create the Segmented Cooktop we recognized that people are more and more aware of the advantages of induction, gas, and griddle cooking surfaces and would love to be able to combine them without having to choose just one.”

Chef Suzette Gresham-Tognetti (in the photo here), from the 1 star Michelin restaurant Acquerello, her team and Larissa, resident chef at Purcell Murray, prepared delicious Italian food, taking advantage of exclusive features such as the Assistant, the double fan convection, the new powerful brass burners, and answered all questions from the attendees.

The new Bertazzoni built-in line is offered in two distinct styles — the Design Series and the Professional Series. The new Bertazzoni ovens, cooktops and hoods have been introduced to the public for the first time in Europe.
The Professional Series and the Design Series had great success in exceeding expectations: both with the more traditional customer and with innovative people. Very important are the role of the technological content and new concepts in cooking, such as the intelligent interface and the Assistant in the ovens, as well as the different combinations of cooking surfaces in the segmented cooktops.
